Privacy Policy

Who we are
Ink Studio is an AI tattoo design and try-on app operated by Virtual Minds (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what we collect through the Ink Studio iOS app and this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at team@virtualminds.tech — a human reads every message.
Account data
An account is created for you automatically the first time you open the app, using an anonymous identifier — you don't give us an email address or password, and we don't collect one. That identifier is what links your credits, designs and collection to your device so they are there when you come back.
Your content
Ink Studio is built around content you create. Depending on how you use the app, we store:
- The text prompts you write to describe a design.
- Reference photos you choose to upload.
- Photos of your skin you take or pick for the try-on preview.
- The tattoo designs generated for you and the previews you save.
Your content is stored in our cloud infrastructure, tied to your account, and visible only to you. We do not publish it, share it with other users, or use it for advertising.
How AI generation works
When you generate a design, your prompt — and any reference or skin photo you attach — is sent to trusted third-party AI service providers solely to produce your design. This processing happens on your request, each time you generate. We do not use your prompts or photos to train our own models, and our providers are engaged under terms that restrict them to processing the data to deliver the service.
Analytics
We use a privacy-focused analytics service, hosted in the European Union, to understand how the app is used — which screens are visited, which features are popular, and where things break. Analytics events describe product usage; they are not tied to advertising profiles, and we do not sell your personal information.
Purchases
Subscriptions and credit purchases are billed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your card number or billing details — Apple handles payment entirely. A subscription-management service processes your purchase receipts so the app knows which plan or credits belong to your account.
Push notifications
If you opt in, we store a device token so we can notify you — when a design render is ready, and occasionally for reminders, free-credit drops and inspiration highlights. To time those sensibly, we record when you last opened the app. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings or in the app, and the token is removed when your account is deleted.
Camera and photo library
The app requests camera and photo-library access only so you can take or pick reference and skin photos, and save previews back to your library. Nothing is accessed in the background, and nothing is uploaded without an action you take.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. To delete your account, email us at team@virtualminds.tech and your account data, photos and generated designs will be removed from our systems within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email team@virtualminds.tech. We will respond within the timelines the law requires. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children
Ink Studio is rated 17+ and tattoo imagery can be mature. The app and this site are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 17. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Security and international transfers
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest and stored on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure. Where data crosses borders, we rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and note it in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
