Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Virtual Minds (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Ink Studio iOS app or this website, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and is part of these terms.

2. Your license to use Ink Studio

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own, non-commercial purposes. You may not resell the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it to build a competing product.

3. AI-generated designs

Designs in Ink Studio are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for inspiration — you are responsible for how you use them. In particular:

• Similar prompts can produce similar designs, for you or for other users. We make no guarantee that any design is unique.
• On-skin previews are visualizations, not medical or professional advice. Before getting tattooed, verify placement, sizing, line weight and any health considerations with a licensed tattoo artist.
• AI output can be unexpected or inaccurate. Review every design before relying on it.

4. Ownership

To the extent we can grant them, rights in the designs generated for you belong to you. You grant us a limited license to host, store and process your prompts, photos and designs — solely to operate the service for you. The Ink Studio name, wordmark, app, website and everything behind them remain our property.

5. Credits and subscriptions

New accounts receive free credits; generating a design spends credits. Optional subscriptions and credit packs are available in the app at the prices shown there. All billing runs through the Apple App Store:

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies — we cannot issue refunds directly.
• Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire when your account is deleted.
• If a generation fails on our side, the credit is returned to your balance.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Ink Studio to:

• Create content that is unlawful, hateful, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property or publicity rights.
• Upload photos of another person without their consent.
• Generate content sexualizing minors — this results in an immediate, permanent ban.
• Probe, overload or disrupt the service, scrape it, or attempt to extract the underlying models.

7. Our intellectual property

Ink Studio, its wordmark, design, software and content (other than your content) are owned by Virtual Minds and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms grant you no rights in them except the license in section 2. Inspiration imagery shown in the app may come from third-party sources and remains the property of its owners; it is displayed for reference only. If you believe content in the app infringes your rights, contact us at team@virtualminds.tech.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any design is suitable to be tattooed.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including decisions you make about permanent body art. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under your local law.

10. Termination

You can stop using Ink Studio at any time and request account deletion by email. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections 3, 4 and 7–9 survive termination.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page and noted in the app; continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
